Less Calories, More Nutrients

Not all foods are equal! The goal when eating is to get the most ‘bang for your buck’ when it comes to nutrients. For example, a glass of skim milk can provide all kinds of nutrients that the body needs for about 83 calories, while a regular can of soda contains virtually no nutritional value and has between 140-165 calories! Every meal should consist of a protein, a vegetable, and a carbohydrate. It is very important to pick foods that you enjoy! Remember, eating should be pleasurable!
