Hollywood Guru Reveals Jessica Simpson’s Weight Loss Secret
Recently, many have marveled at singer, reality star and fan-fave blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson’s shedding her post-pregnancy weight so successfully and decisively. Tuesday, star-watching media outlet E! published an exclusive story on just that, having interviewed renowned Hollywood personal trainer, nutritionist and wellness specialist Marco Borges.
According to Borges, the 33-year-old Simpson has dropped what he would estimate as 60 to 70 pounds since the June 2013 birth of her baby Ace.Borges, who has worked with such A-list celebrities as Beyoncé and Jay-Z, said women should gain, on average, 25 to 30 pounds when pregnant. He also stated that, in his professional opinion, women should allow themselves six months after giving birth to drop their mommy chub and that half of a woman’s pregnancy weight typically comes off within the first six weeks after a birth.
Furthermore, Borges said, central to Simpson’s transformation to MILF status are nutrition and exercise. According to Borges, the best a woman can do for herself after giving birth is to refocus her diet on veggies and greens.
