A. Average weight loss is approximately 10 pounds per month. Results vary patient to patient and depends on several factors including initial weight, percentage of body fat versus lean muscle mass, intrinsic metabolic rate, degree of exercise activity and diet.
Q. Are the medications safe?
A. Yes. The medications have been used to treat over 70,000 clients with no report of any significant medical issues.
Q. Are the medications habit forming?
A. No. Several studies have indicated no significant abuse potential for the medications that we use.
Q. What are the most common side effects?
A. The most common side effect is dry mouth. This is easily relieved by increased water intake.
Q. Will I be able to sleep?
A. Yes. There is an initial adjustment period but most clients have no difficulty sleeping.
Q. Are medication approved by the FDA?
A. Yes. All the medications are manufactured in the United States and are approved by the FDA.
Q. How often do I take the medication?
A. In most cases, the medications are taken twice daily.
Q. Can I continue to take my vitamins?
A. Yes. Dr. G’s has vitamins that are scientifically formulated to work together with the medications that we use.
Q. Can I drink coffee?
A. Yes. You can consume coffee in small quantities depending on your individual sensitivity. Caffeine is a stimulant and therefore may increase the effects of the appetite suppressant medication.
Q. Can I drink alcohol?
A. Alcohol consumption is allowed in moderation but not recommended. Alcohol has the potential to slow your metabolism down and also contains wasted calories.
